Sambo Orchestra was started in 1983 with the blessing of the Guru Mr. G. Udhayakumar. He is a scholar in Carnatic music. He is well versed in playing Harmonium, Accordion, Guitar, Mandolin & Flute. He is the father of Mr. U. Balachander & Mr. U. Thiyagarajan. Who are the organizers of sambo organizers of samboo orchestra.
Balu being a Bcom graduate started his music career at the age of 17. He has passed Grade 7 in Western Music at Trinity College of music, London. In practical & grade 4 in theory. The learnt Indian classical from his father Mr. Udhaykumar Western classical from the famous teacher Mr. Jacob John. Mr. Jacob John has teached music for A.R. Rahman, Yuvan sankar Raja & other famous musicians. Balu can play Keyboard, Guiter, Drums & Tabla. He is also a singer.
Mr. Thiyagrajan started his career as a musician from the age of 22. He has learnt Indian Classical from his father & Guru Mr. Udhaykumar, Western from his brother Mr.Balachander (Balu) & Hindustani from Master Nithiyanantham.
Balu’s sambo orchestra is stepping into Silver Jubilee year. It has done more than 20000 Programmes all over India & abroad. His Orchestra performs in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam & other variety programmes with Mimicry, digital sound & laser lights.

We are running Music school named prathishtha Music school & Prathishtha Musicals (Music instruments, audio, Video & Music book selling). And Prathishtha record inn, which is a digital recording studio with Protools. For which we have produced many private album & devotional album.
